The history of Ferro Lamiere Metalli begins in 1976, the year in which Mario Stefini founded the company.
Over the years, the reality has become a specialized steel service centre, whose core business is the wholesale trade and processing of coils and metal sheets.
In 2018, Knight Commander Mauro Stefana sells his stake in the company Ferrosider S.p.A. and decides to look for new opportunities together with his son and daughter.
In February 2020, the company was acquired by the Stefanas.
Among the many companies taken into consideration, the Stefana family decides to start a new entrepreneurial adventure in Ferro Lamiere Metalli on account of their deep know-how in the steel industry.
Despite the uncertainty dictated by the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic, in June 2020 the new property invests in a leveling machine produced by the company Spotti Sergio Coil Processing srl.
The new machinery is a latest generation production line (industry 4.0) and allows to increase product quality, performance, plant automation and the range of foldable coils.
Today, as in the past, Ferro Lamiere Metalli, supported by the latest generation machinery, processes black and pickled metal sheets, flattened to size and in metal strips coils.
